This is a workshop that gives you a way to start and develop your dance. You’ll be challenged to think and move, share thoughts, ideas and experience with other dancers on a similar journey. With a mix of group, partner and individual activity, your dancing skills will develop and deepen, with variations providing new ways to explore and find freedom. Remember when Bank holidays were a time to join the Bloomsbury set for a spot of tandas and cortinas and chacerera?
Being back in London, there hasn’t been a milonga where someone hasn’t asked me if there will be more editions of abrazos in the future. Whilst there won’t be an abrazos on 28th August and officially we’ve been on a break, I wanted to say I’ve missed it too.
There may be a chance that the break is coming to end, but in the meanwhile here are some tunes to keep you dancing on Monday afternoon.
Just a few pics from Sunday where the queue ran -as it does every year- around the corner and past M&S.
Two sessions we did, a technique class where everyone got to grips with ochos and boleos. Then we paired up for some dancing in ‘how to make a tango’. The group was great, lots of clapping and smiles. Thanks guys, hope to see some, if not all, of you soon.
