a taste of tango

Women's technique.

Find your inner milonguera...

Jenney teaches women’s technique workshops from time to time. Inspiring and informative, each session explores an idea from the woman’s point of view, taking into account balance, posture and connecting to your partner. Below are example of the topics covered previously.

"Ganchos & Boleos"

Dangerous in the wrong hands and explosive when used properly, this session will explain how ganchos & boleos work, can be adjusted for the milonga and the "how and when" of using them.

"Adornos & the Music"

Why? How? and most importantly When? Learn about the valuable role of adornos and how you can use them to express yourself with the music whilst still being connected to your partner.

"Giros"

Turning, turning and more turning. But without the dizziness and the falling over. This workshop is an essential for dancers of any level. Challenging and very rewarding. Discover the speed, rhythm and energy of your turns.

“Ochos & Sacadas”

A range of ways to pivot, stay grounded and displacement without annihiliation are explored in this session.
