Alberto Podestá with Sexteto Stazo Mayor in concert.
Alberto Podestá is one of my favourite singers, a voice that is tender and full of feeling. His career has seen collaborations with the great orchestras of Di Sarli, Calo, Biagi and Laurenz to name but a few, leaving the reader with an impressive who's who of Tango music. He appeared in "Cafe de Los Maestros" but wasn't able to come to the Barbican for the concert last year.
The good news is that I found out he's coming to Italy for some performances in May with Sexteto Stazo Mayor. Unmissable.

Is it with your head held high, confident of your journey even though you may not know where you're going, patient with the world around you, walking to what is important to you? Or does the pressure of multiple troubles, make you feel miserable and just want to get it over with. Tango is what my life is, but my Tango is also what I want life to be.
